 Dear conference Participants!

 We invite you to publish scientific articles in the scientific journals of international scope with open access, according to the journal profile (more information in the overlap Publication of articles). Submissions of articles can be submitted by the end of January 2022.


Only first 130 submitted scientific papers will be published free of charge in the scientific journals listed on the conference website!

We live in a time of new challenges to the safety of agricultural production, including plant health care and the biological safety of products, climate change and environmental degradation, as well as threats to human health. These challenges concern not only agriculture production but also basic and applied agricultural research and education. Therefore, the University of Life Sciences in Lublin aims to provide researchers, students, business leaders, government employees and agricultural producers the innovative ideas and research results to address global challenges with scientific support. The Conference “BIOPROTECTION – GLOBAL PLANT HEALTH AND PRODUCT SAFETY” is a signature event that will bring a diverse scientific experience, provide the opportunity to create new connections and partnerships and offer an unique insight into the latest research and innovations in agriculture, to further strengthen the development of agriculture. 

At the same time, we would like to inform you that the planned scientific event has received financial support from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland, which involves the possibility of free publishing articles in selected scientific journals with the Impact Factor and free access to them.   • CONFERENCE PRELIMINARY PROGRAMME

    The United Nations General Assembly  declared 2020 as the International Year of Plant Health. We have the honour to invite you to the International Scientific Conference “BIOPROTECTION – GLOBAL PLANT HEALTH AND PRODUCT SAFETY”. The event will be held at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland, on September 22-24 2021. The conference aims to present the results achieved in the field of non-chemical crop protection methods, various treatment methods, their impact on plant health and product safety. These scientific problems will be divided into five sections:

    • Pest management;
    • Plant pathogen management;
    • Weeds – strategies for applying treatment;
    • Biopesticides and ecotoxicology;
    • Non-chemical methods of plant protection.

Information about the poster:

Poster dimensions: 75 cm x 95 cm (width x height)

The poster must contain:

  • title
  • authors’ names and surname
  • affiliation
  • INTRODUCTION
  • MATERIAL AND METHODS
  • RESULTS

Conference participants submitting a poster presentation should send it the e-mail: as PDF file till 10/09/2021.

Participants who take part in the stationary form of conference are asked to prepare printed poster, which will be presented on the board during the conference.

The fee includes: participation for a person in all sections activities according to the conference programme (participation in lectures, lunches, dinners, refreshments, excursion), the conference bag including: conference programme, the book of abstracts, promotional materials, certificate of participation in the conference.

The cost of the conference: standard registration fee: 120 EUR or 500 PLN
Reduced registration fee (special guests and students): 100 EUR or 400 PLN
Accompanying person: 50 EUR or 200 PLN

The reduced registration fee is possible for special guests after receiving a special invitation and for students.

2b. Travel from LUBLIN bus station to Congress Center

From the main bus station (PKS station)

From under the station building (Dworzec Główny PKS) at the main street take the lines number: 57 (direction Poręba), 31 (direction Poręba), 18 (direction Sławinkowska), then get off at the KUL stop (Catholic University of Lublin) (4th bus stop); travel time about 13 minutes. The ticket price for public transport is 3.20 PLN. You can buy a ticket at a kiosk or in a vending machine on the bus. The purchased ticket should be validated.
