Didactic activity

« back

Department is responsible for lectures and practicals in obligatory subjects Chemistry and Biochemistry as well as facultative subjects Endocrinology and Behaviorism for students of veterinary medicine. Practicals are conducted in laboratory equipped with necessary chemical equipment and items for safe laboratory work.

Apart from classic frontal lectures and practicals in laboratory we use innovative teaching methods for self study – virtual cases. Virtual cases were prepared in cooperation with University of Veterinary Medicine in Hannover and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest within the frame of European project. More details about the project can be found at www.vetvip.eu

Each year the competition for ideal didactic materials is announced. Students actively participate in this activity and several interesting projects were created like board games, movies, phone or internet applications.

CHEMISTRY
